College Entrance Testing-PSAT, SAT and ACT

THE CSU AND UC SCHOOLS ARE CURRENTLY TEST-BLIND. IF YOU TAKE AND SUBMIT A SCORE, IT WILL NOT BE USED FOR ADMISSIONS. A SAT/ACT SCORE IS NOT REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR THE 2021/22 APPLICATION CYCLE
 
MANY PRIVATE SCHOOLS ARE TEST-OPTIONAL. IF YOU TAKE A TEST, YOU MAY SUBMIT THE TEST IF YOU FEEL IT IS A GOOD REFLECTION OF YOU AS A STUDENT. LOOK INTO EACH PRIVATE SCHOOL AS NEEDED.
The CollegeBoard is a website to prepare and administer standardized tests such as the PSAT, AP, SAT and ACT exams. All student must create an account if they haven't done so already to sign up for an exam or review their scores. https://www.collegeboard.org/
 
 
Most colleges accept the SAT or the ACT and students do NOT need take both, but are encouraged to so he/she knows which test they excel in. The PSAT is a Practice SAT test all students 9-11th will take while at Hollywood High School to prepare for the SAT. The College Center will provide students 2 Fee Waivers for the SAT and ACT if the student is on the Free/Reduced Lunch Program at Hollywood High School.
