Hollywood is proud to be partnered with LACC Upward Bound!

"Upward Bound serves high school students from low-income families in which neither parent holds a bachelors degree (first-generation potential-college student). We guide program participants through their high school years, providing academic skills development, information on college admissions and financial aid, career exposure, and first-hand experience of college life. Our objective is to prepare our students for success not only in high school but also in a post-secondary educational institution of their choosing."

UCLA DCAC (Destination College Advising Corps)

"UCLA’s Early Academic Outreach Program, EAOP, is honored to work alongside the College Advising Corps, focusing on the path to higher education with its very own branch. UCLA’s Destination College Advising Corps (DCAC) works to increase the opportunities and resources provided to first generation, low income, and underrepresented students who enter and complete higher education. DCAC adopts a near peer learning model by placing well-trained recent college graduates as full time college advisors in our 15 partner high schools, supplementing the work of college counselors. Using Key Performance Indicators, CAC is able to track student results which helps the program to continually transform and adapt to our students."
