NMA Twelfth Grade Student Work
Added Sep 06, 2015 •
This short video documents Kimberley Conrado's physical project component of her Senior Project research about teaching media literacy skills in elementary and middle schools.
As part of their semester-long Senior Project, students must choose a topic of interest, develop a research question that guides their work as they compose a 10-12 page research paper, and complete a physical project in which they apply their research by working in the community. New Media Academy students document their physical project through time lapse video, which is included as part of their formal research defense, a panel presentation to a team of faculty members and community professionals.
