Advisory is a one credit class that serves as a homeroom, and a place where students can get together and prepare for a successful day in school.
Students are graded based on participation in class. They will keep a weekly grade sheet journalling those activities in class.
Attendance and participation are crucial for getting an A in Advisory. Students need to arrive on time and ready to learn with a positive attitude and the rest is easy.
In Advisory....
Teachers will lead activities that will help build community in the class.
Teachers will create lessons that will help students become better students... and better people.
Teachers will make sure students know they can get the help they need to succeed.
