Dear 10th Grade Families,

We are excited to have our 10th grade students participate in the PSAT/NMSQT on Wednesday, October 21, at Hollywood High School.

Please review the important information below to help your student be prepared for a successful testing day.

📅 PSAT Test Day: Wednesday, October 21
⏰ Arrival Time: 8:30 AM
📍 Hollywood High School

Students should arrive at school by 8:30 AM. Beginning at approximately 8:45 AM, students will be directed to their assigned testing locations.

Important Technology Reminder

The PSAT is a digital exam, so students will test using their school-issued Chromebooks.

Before test day, please make sure your student:

• Fully charges their Chromebook the night before the exam.
• Opens and tests the Bluebook app on their Chromebook before test day.
• Makes sure the Bluebook app is updated and working properly.
• Brings their fully charged Chromebook to school on October 21.

Prepare for the PSAT

We strongly encourage students to spend some time preparing for the PSAT before test day. Free PSAT/SAT practice resources and full-length practice exams are available through the Bluebook app on their Chromebooks.

Students can also use Khan Academy's free online SAT/PSAT preparation resources to review skills and practice questions.

Even a little preparation can help students feel more confident and comfortable on test day!

Thank you for your support in helping your student arrive on time, prepared, and ready to do their best. We look forward to a successful PSAT testing day!

Sincerely,

Dr. Pelikhova
