Teaching Career Academy (TCA) Summer Bridge Program

WELCOME TO HOLLYWOOD HIGH SCHOOL! You are now a part of the Teaching Career Academy and we are really excited for you to start with us in our Summer Bridge Program! The focus will be on how to maintain a healthy mental outlook and deal with the current stressors that are going on around us. This could not come at a better time. We will teach you how to identify stressors in your own life and develop a social emotional plan to help you make a successful transition to become a Hollywood High School Sheik. We will have virtual field trips, expert speakers, group discussions, self-reflection, and meditation techniques as some of the activities. Students are also taught how to use the Suite of free Google Apps and other online tools in order to create a culminating Public Service Announcement project...all great tools as you begin high school in this virtual age.
