Hans Denck, Anabaptist

Hans Denck/Denk was a contemporary of Luther who differed with his view of purgatory (he didn't believe in it) and other theological items. I wrote my senior thesis on him using his work "Is God Evil?" Take a look at this file for some info.

Your test today..

AP Euro folk,
Friday night and agonizing over your first test. I refuse to curve any work in an AP class nor will I simply 'drop' it. That's not how you prepare for the test in May. Instead I'll reward any student who achieved a minimum of 40% (that was the mean average of each class) with a roughly 20% bump. Please keep in mind that one student out of both periods earned a respectable 76% without any artificial help. How could more of you have earned at least that? Read. I will not entertain any more discussion on this matter nor will I ever alter any future grades. Spend some serious time reading CH 13 this weekend. Thanks. Fitz,

CH 13 8/31-9/4 2015

Having read pgs. 376-85 over the weekend and answered the C.T. question on p376 in your CH 13 notes to share with the class. Tuesday- pgs. 386-95, Weds pgs. 396-400, Thursday pgs. 401-06, Friday pgs. 407-10 (Elizabethan England). CH 13 test next week on September 8th after the holiday weekend.

AP Euro 24-28 AUG 15

Hopefully you finished CH 11 over the weekend and took notes. As I mentioned on Friday we will address one of the two chapter focus questions in class in a brief quick write and review the CH 2 AP M/C quiz you took (#2-15) in your notes. Then we need to start CH 12 on The Renaissance. I will have a chapter assessment on Friday of either the DBQ or a chapter test. I have also set up your Engrade accounts and entered your credit for the parent letters.
