welcome shapes welcome back to Hollywood High School and Welcome to our new sheets are new 9th graders while we're still in this covid-19 educational experience but it's better safe so I don't want you guys to be uncomfortable and so we're still in our virtual learning which is going to be quite good I think I was how to make sure that you know when you do come on campus I'll you need to wear your mask you need to be socially distance cuz we are really concerned about your safety we don't want anyone here getting sick also I want to talk restorative justice and ours are social emotional support you will be doing a like a home and we will be talking about your social emotional experiences will be able to do podcast ask any kind of virtual thing you would like to do to share with us and with the community nearby with the country and with the world about yourself and what's going on in your head about this experience for you are restorative justice circles will be starting even though their virtual we will also be doing our teaching you how to do. creation and I'll be working with leadership and with Francine on peer mediation parents we need your support we need you there with us so please be in touch and in tune with my Blackboard connect messages I communicate via I email text messaging voicemail if you can't find us come into the school we're here for you I also want to let you know that I am the administrator for anime New Media Academy ASA portal Ines if you can't reach her you reach me I'm also helping out with her and you know I'm here for everybody TCA and SAS I will be doing weekly announcements but maybe more I mean if you need to hear more information I'll be there for you and so look out for my Blackboard connect messages we have a new age Studio we have a new program that we're going to be starting an interview program it's going to be inside HD Paris with your house Doctor Reed and we're setting up interviews so our community our students when you come to check out your textbooks I want you to bring your student ID each book has a barcode and your ID will help us take these books out faster 9th graders your middle school ID will work as well if you wanted book here it is but also they are online as well all your teeth books will be digitized in schoology for those of you who still need a book and it's not in schoology please come to the school to check it out but don't forget your mask students at families I'm Sam solakyan one of The Proud assistant principals here at Hollywood High School and I want to welcome you back to the Sheikh family and to our new students and families I want to welcome you to the sheet family you are going to have an amazing time here whatever support you need whether it be the books the technology or your social emotional learning we are here for you now that you have learned so much about Hollywood High School I want to let you know that if you have brothers sisters Neighbors our friends have them enroll here at Hollywood High School by calling the assistant principal's office at the attendance office 323-993-1746 and we will take care of you. talked about books and you have the option of doing hardback or the digital version that you can find in your schoology so besides the book we also have Chromebooks for you to check out which means that you'll have to apply with a paper APA come on in and we'll give you a Chromebook and let's review some safety tips please make sure that you cure keeping the Chromebook nice and clean which means the screen and the keyboard don't spill your favorite drink on it students and families wild all the administrator support everyone on campus I specifically overseed a teaching Career Academy and I cannot wait to see all the creativity that comes from the child development program one of the great programs that we have with West Los Angeles College the great puppet making company Jim Henson Studios as well as the online animation and Graphics from Stan Winston you have such great resources online and I cannot wait to support your learning Patricia Booker assistant principal year at Hollywood High School I supervised counseling special education steps of our world I like to say this is where our future Stars Are Born Judy Garland Carol Burnett Anthony and we are but also and Stage Tech design our students or priority and we make sure that they offered classes in advanced placement to get them ready for college as well as all of the A's a g requirements that must be met our magic number for seniors is to make sure that they have earned 210 credits to graduate high school have a great support team and the Performing Arts Center course rehab me Miss Booker read our principal we look
