turning wood it does it provides personalization for the students the teachers that they have will hopefully be working with one another and it provides students I feel more support across all subject matters I think the biggest difference in English language arts is really making very clear connections to the students subject areas so they clearly understand how the skills that they're building in my class are things that they're going to apply in their history class in their science class and class in a technology class out of work based learning experience will we talk about certain things for example like help forensics ties into law and and the map that goes behind it in the science that goes behind it right there starting to see this path not only carry over but so skills carry over I feel like a lot of the nonprofits and the Clinics of really embraced our school and are taking the students onto new level and sourcing I really getting this opportunity to experience the real world out there and there are things that we do when we take them outside of the classroom they're also a lot of opportunities where we bring wood professionals into we started having a guest speakers come in and at first it was you know this is about two and a half years ago was just kind of random whenever we could find somebody but then we saw that was having none and so for the last year we've been doing it as you know of very targeted thing we have ring meet Ashley at the clinic and so the students are getting to start to feel like they are kind of a part of that clinic and then in the second semester that's when they go out and work in the field because if they think is that they're they're planning specifically on what types of careers that they think that they have in mind for kids to you know as sophomores or is even seniors asking damn asking it was specific about what major would lead to this career that that that makes it all worthwhile
